1. Can Discord bots be harmful?
Some Discord bots may ask for too many permissions and try and collect data, like contacts, files, etc., even when they don’t need them. Others may try and hack or spam you with unsolicited ads. Be careful and do your due diligence before installation.
2. Who can add a Discord bot to a server?
Only people who have administrative or “Manage Server” permissions on the server can invite a bot. If you don’t have either of these roles, you won’t be able to add bots. If you have created the server, then you are the admin and can invite any bot.
3. Can I create my own Discord bot?
