To get started, you have to login with Twitter or Facebook (sadly that’s the only way to sign up). Once you are in, you can choose to start a new infographic or create a new chart or enter the library.
Click on the choice and a array of templates will open up to choose from. Select the one that fits your data best and start building on it.
The data can be imported from any CSV file that can then be added to the infographic in the form of interactive charts. The four types of charts that can be used are bar, pie, matrix and line. You can work on other design attributes like color of the elements and width of the infographic. To the right of the editing window, you can find buttons to add texts, quotes, titles and pictures as well. After you have collected all the information into the infographic, arrange the elements(charts, titles, text etc) in a comprehensible way. All of that can be done just by dragging and dropping elements across the length of the infographic. Once you are convinced that you are finished creating the infographic, you can publish it. As the infographic is posted for public viewing, you can then share it on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest. A URL can also be found which will display a page with the infographic in action. Say you wish to post the infographic on a page of your website, Infogram offers you with an iframe code which can be used to embed the infographic on any web page. Note that you can also unpublish or edit an infographic (you had created with Infogram) after you had published it.
Contrary to the common infographics, Infogram lets you create dynamic or interactive information. These not only helps you engage readers but also lets you present more data within a single presentation without making it look crammed. Visually is another great service that not only helps you find great infographics but has recently rolled out a spiffy app to create them too. All said, it’s still a prolonged research that makes the infographic an informative one. So if you have the mined data at your hand, fret not about the design costs to present them in a captivating way. These infographic creation tools does a great job.
