Rory’s Story Cubes is comprised of a box of nine miniature cubes akin to the traditional dice. Each cube displays a different icon on each face for a sum of fifty-four pictures in the complete set. Let’s say you rolled a die and found the picture of an ink-black beetle. You could associate that beetle with a traitor or a multi-limbed business or portray someone who lived with an emotional cover. Look at the screenshot below. This software is specially designed for writers and is also the personal favorite of many writers. While most software helps after you’re finished with your work, Scrivener assists you from the very beginning – from the time when your plot and plans are unformed – until that heart-warming final draft of your masterpiece. You can do several pieces simultaneously if you use Scrivener. It is one of the very few writing software that enables you to see your entire write-up while you are organizing the parts, This feature is called the corkboard view (shown in the screenshot below). 4. Outline 4D
Akin to Scrivener, Outline 4D enables you to brainstorm, make and create the structure, and arrange your work. The screenshot below shows that you can work on several activities at the same time. A great feature of this software is that it is easy to use, and the interface is user-friendly. It offers many built-in templates which will help you in tailoring the outline structure style. Moreover, it has a horizontal outline pattern that is quite better than blocks, index cards, and conventional timeline systems. The software lets you make virtual index cards which are capable of containing hundreds of pages of text!
5. Adobe’s InDesign Creative Suite
Once all the work related to inking your dreams is complete, Adobe Indesign CC will lay out the options regarding how you want your work to be presented. It’s a great tool for publishing purposes because it offers a unique array of designs as far as fonts, texts and covers.
