As per its previous generations, Apple’s iPhone only comes with a maximum frame rate of 30fps. As we all know, a 60fps video is sharper and smoother than a 30fps video. Of course, the resulting video size of a 60fps video is bigger compared to a 30fps video file size, but that shouldn’t be an issue for a 64GB or 128GB iPhone 6/6 Plus.

If you want to see just what your iPhone’s rear-facing camera is capable of, simply follow the easy steps below to enable 60fps recording on your iPhone 6/iPhone 6 Plus:

  1. Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
  2. Scroll down and tap on “Photos & Camera”.
  3. Here, simply enable the toggle to “Record Video at 60fps”.

That’s it. To test out this feature, simply open up the Camera app from the Home screen, switch to video mode and start recording full HD videos at 60fps.
